100th Day of School!

Just showing off one of the many ways we can make 100 using our bodies!!

We had such a fun and busy day learning all about the number 100, writing about what we would buy with $100, finding 100 items in a picture, and many, many, more!

Wood and Paper Science Unit

Steve Jones showing us how to carve figurines out of a block of wood.  We have been learning about where wood and paper come from and things all around us that are made up of these materials.  Thank you to Steve Jones for sharing your talents with us!!!

Our science experiment on January 13th was to take a block of wood/paper clips/rubber band and see if it will sink or float in a basin of water.  We made our predictions first in our science journals.  Ask your child how their experiment turned out?  If it sank to the bottom, why/how did this happen?  If it floated at the top, why/how did this happen?  We had a great time observing this experiment!
